Date for our next mission trip: July 12-21, 2008
Raising funds is a vital part for just about any mission team, no matter where God is leading them. It has always been part of this team's history. However, being completely self-funded after 16 years is a new experience. It's a strange feeling, perhaps even intimidating. Definitely humbling! Yet, the knowledge that we are doing what we are called to do and leaning on God for wisdom and strength is helping us to push forward.
The team is working on several fundraiser ideas and will be listing them on this site, as plans are finalized. Please check back periodically for more information and updates.
God calls each and every one, yet He has many different plans for us. Do you feel God has given you a burden to help out, but are not sure how? You can help the Arizona Mission Team in many ways. The most important "thing" we need is your prayer. Please ask God to give us guidance and wisdom. May He use us to do His work and to show His love.
If you live in the area, you could volunteer to assist with fundraisers. Depending on the event we are working on, we may be looking for merchandise to give to attendees/participants, so your contributions are welcome. If you would like to make a financial contribution, please contact us. Your contributions - merchandise or financial - are tax-deductible.
Team members are responsible for raising their own funds; however, fundraiser proceeds or financial contributions help offset some of the general cost. All monies will go toward the trip expenses, for example VBS supplies and snacks for the kids, building material, etc.
